Arrowhead Golf Course
With a championship layout in a unique setting, Arrowhead Golf Course was 300 million years in the making. Drastic elevation changes, plenty of wildlife and thousands of feet of ancient red sandstone rocks with towering peaks above fairways offer golfers a majestic experience. It’s easy to see why this is one of the most photographed golf courses in the world.
Evergreen Golf Course
This 18-hole executive course sits at 7,220 feet in the beautiful town of Evergreen in the Foothills. Rolling mountain hills and fairways lined with natural landscaping make this course perfect if you’re looking to escape the city.
Bear Creek runs along the course and elk sightings are not unusual. This course offers golfers a true mountain golf experience just a short distance from Denver.
Fossil Trace Golf Club
Fossil Trace Golf Club was named for its location, a place where 64 million years ago dinosaurs roamed on what are now holes 11 – 15. While on the 12th hole, be sure to check out the Triceratops footprints. Celebrating 20 years this year, Fossil Trace Golf Club sits next to the Rocky Mountain Front Range Foothills in historic Golden. Golfers get a unique experience with the feel of a mountain course just minutes from the city.
Fox Hollow Golf Course
Fox Hollow, located in Lakewood, is a quick drive from Denver. The well-known fifth hole provides golfers with some challenging terrain – an 80-foot elevation drop from the fairway to the green. Nine holes in The Meadow are bordered by Bear Creek and include other water hazards, while the Links is a Scottish-style nine with a panoramic view of the Rocky Mountain Foothills.
Legacy Ridge Golf Course
Designed by Arthur Hills, Legacy Ridge Golf Course in Westminster is a Colorado-style Scottish links layout that is perfect for players of all levels. Fairways with plenty of space, greens that average more than 6,000 square feet, spectacular mountain views, prairie grasses and wetlands make for a rare round of golf 20 minutes from Denver.
TCP Colorado at Heron Lakes
Located in the Heron Lakes community north of Denver in Berthoud, TCP Colorado is a championship golf course designed by Arthur Schaupeter Golf Course Architects. There are plenty of water views with Lonetree, McNeil and Welch Reservoirs alongside the course, and broad mountain views abound.
Hole no. 13 is one of the longest holes in North America, requiring a skillful tee shot as it is also the longest Par 5 on any PGA Tour course.
The Club at Ravenna
The Club at Ravenna allows golfers the chance to play a world-class 18-hole golf course that has been thoughtfully designed and sits beneath the Dakota Hogback among Colorado’s spectacular red rocks in Littleton. Offering several different tees to suit a player’s skill level, scenic views and a variety of terrain, this course was named one of the Top 100 Residential Courses by Golfweek.
The Ridge at Castle Pines North
Located just south of Denver, The Ridge at Castle Pines North is an award-winning golf course offering golfers stunning views from Pikes Peak to Mt. Evans and all the way to Denver International Airport, which is 30 miles away. Players enjoy the spacious fairways, challenging bunkers and rolling greens.
Willis Case Golf Course
Just seven minutes from downtown Denver, Willis Case Golf Course has panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. With narrow, sloping fairways, it’s a challenging course that runs through full grown stands of trees. Well bunkered holes require golfers to have accurate play. Honeybee hives are found in the conservation area off green no. 17 with pollinator gardens and thoughtful landscaping to provide food for the bees.
