A Telluride local since 1976, Banks brings a long-standing commitment to the community and a legacy of leadership to this new role. His service includes past presidencies of the Telluride R-1 School District Board, the Aldasoro Ranch Homeowners Company, and the Telluride Association of Realtors. He currently chairs the Mountain Village Design Review Board and sits on the Board of Directors for the Telluride Hospital District. From his years as a volunteer firefighter to mentoring local youth, Banks embodies the spirit and character that define Telluride.
