Along with the Telluride Association of Realtors, LIV SIR brokers and staff recently participated in a highway clean up as part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. This essential program helps get rid of roadside litter, which costs millions of dollars annually to control. With the help of volunteers, we can keep Colorado beautiful.

Gwenivere is a third-year title sponsor of former Bronco’s safety and Superbowl Champion, David Bruton’s, Bruton’s Books Golf Tournament. Bruton’s Books partners with local and national programs to help tackle reading. Through these partnerships, Bruton’s Books works to help low-income children in grades K-3 become strong readers by empowering students and providing books to underfunded schools, libraries, and classrooms.

Ellen volunteers at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. She gives a minimum of three hours per week to play with the children or hold babies to soothe them. As one of the nation’s top children’s hospitals, volunteers are needed to help deliver the best care for kids. More than 200,000 children in Colorado communities use the Children’s Hospital every year.

Delroy and his son headed out into the community on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, to give to those in need. They randomly purchased groceries and gave money to shoppers at a local grocery store. Their kindness inspired kindness in others as recipients were surprised and grateful. 

National Charity League, Inc., Colorado Blue Sky Chapter – Erin Rule and her daughters, Kyleigh and Sloan

The National Charity League, Inc. is a group of mothers and daughters who have a commitment to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences. In partnership with local and national nonprofits, each NCL, Inc. chapter promotes social awareness by identifying the community’s needs and selecting appropriate organizations to support through volunteer activities. Here, Erin and her daughters volunteer at the Joy of Freedom Walk.

Reclaiming Hope –Cherise Selley

Cherise Selley’s unwavering dedication to Reclaiming Hope exemplifies compassion and partnership. For nearly four years, she has supported this transformative organization, which aids survivors of sex trafficking through recovery, restoration, and reintegration, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Cherise has been instrumental in connecting Colorado Springs real estate and business leaders to the mission, expanding its reach and resources.

She has served as a Board member, emceed a fundraising dinner, and introduced countless individuals to Reclaiming Hope. Her efforts include repurposing household items from a client’s property to equip a survivor for independent living and facilitating a sympathetic landlord to donate housing for another survivor. She also helped produce professional videos to amplify the organization’s voice.

Cherise’s heart for service makes her an integral part of Reclaiming Hope’s mission, inspiring hope and healing for survivors.

Roundup River Ranch – Barbara Gardner

Roundup River Ranch offers fun camp experiences for children with life-altering diagnoses and their families. The camp offers the children the opportunity to get back to the excitement of being a child, through the healing power of laughter, friendship and confidence-building activities. Free of charge to campers and their families, the camp is funded through donations and benefits from volunteers. For more information, be sure to visit their website.

Sean Ranch Lough Foundation- Ron I. Martinez

Known as “a party with a purpose,” the Denver Derby Party was started from humble beginnings to become what is now the largest derby party west of the Mississippi. Hosted by the SRLF, the party raises money to provide four-year full-ride scholarships to Colorado State University (CSU). Local high school seniors can apply for one of the scholarships, helping students from around the world achieve their dreams of attending college.

This year’s Denver Derby Party took place May 4th at MacGregor Square in Denver and welcomed over 3,000 guests from all over the world, including many LIV SIR brokers and support staff. Over the years, the party has raised $7.5 million, sold 152,000 tickets, and given out over 60 scholarships. 100% of all proceeds are used to fund the SRLF.

WeeCycle- Mor and Mya Zucker

Mor and her daughter Mya volunteer at WeeCycle, an organization that provides essential baby gear to those in need. They distribute diapers, wipes, formula, and other essentials, as well as gently used clothing. They also offer car seat and textile recycling as part of their environmental preservation initiative.

Together, Mor and Mya hosted a drive at the LIV SIR DTC office where they collected baby gear for the organization. As the buyer’s agent, Mor also helped the organization secure a new warehouse.
