With fresh snow across the state and cooler temperatures signaling the approach of winter, Coloradoans are enjoying the start of ski season. After a warm autumn, locals and visitors alike are ready to hit the slopes.
This fall, Wolf Creek Ski Area in southwestern Colorado was the first to open after an October storm dropped enough snowfall to kick off the season earlier than usual.
Next up were Arapahoe Basin and Keystone Resort on November 2nd to the delight of skiers and snowboarders.


1736 Soda Ridge Road, Keystone
Breckenridge Resort, Ski Cooper, and Copper Mountain opened on November 8th to bring even more terrain options to people chasing powder.


119 Boulder Circle, Breckenridge
Eldora Mountain Resort, Loveland Resort, Vail, and Winter Park started spinning lifts on November 15th and Purgatory opened on November 16th.


106 Basque Boulevard, Telluride
Powderhorn and Steamboat will open on November 22nd and 23rd respectively, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy Beaver Creek and Crested Butte beginning on November 27th, followed by Aspen Mountain and Snowmass, Granby Ranch, and Telluride on November 28th.
