Homes with swimming pools are attractive to buyers as “pool” was the number one most-searched feature on Zillow for 2024, up six spots from the previous year. Colorado has 51,000 residential swimming pools, and there are 10.4 million homes with a swimming pool in the U.S.. Current pool trends include those with finishes that change the color of the pool water, tanning ledges (don’t forget the sunscreen), sustainable designs, and simplistic designs.
Home Design
Coloradoans love good home design and placed 14th in Google Trends for this search term. The top design trends this year include biophilic design, the term for indoor/outdoor living, minimalism, bold wallpaper, and unique tiles. In addition, those who live in Colorado seek homes with luxurious entertainment spaces, timeless design, a focus on wellness, and light-filled spaces.

Denver has 850 miles of paved trails for walking, biking, and hiking. Yoga is currently the most popular class/group exercise in metro Denver, and Colorado continually comes out as one of the healthiest states in the U.S. Get outside and enjoy one of Denver’s hidden-gem parks such as Ninth Street Historic Park or Huston Lake Park.
