Melissa Richards, broker with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, recently participated in a luncheon for The Alliance Foundation. Held at the PPA Event Center in Jefferson Park, the luncheon was a success with close to 400 attendees raising over $38,000 in donations.
“The funds raised will be used to fund micro-loans globally, award college scholarships to women in their junior and senior year at Regis and DU, and serve meals at the Delores project,” added Richards. “In addition, we participate in other local outreach opportunities such as Girls on the Run, CASA, Legacy Charter School where we provide senior pictures.”
Richards is the president of The Alliance Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to improving the status and quality of life for women and children.
The Alliance Foundation was founded in 1994 with the Mission to “educate, inspire and empower women for lifelong success”.
