An array of community leaders including doctors, architects, developers and other non-profit members gathered at the historic Hearthstone restaurant September 23, 2014 for an evening of dining, libations and a silent auction to raise monies for the Family Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC) in Breckenridge.

Guests of the Hearthstone Wine Dinner enjoyed hand-passed appetizers and a silent auction followed by a four-course meal paired with wines donated from Penfolds of Australia. This year’s event raised over $30,000 to support FIRC programs and operations.
Sitting at one of the tables sponsored by Melanie Frank, VP of professional and business development and managing broker of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty in Breckenridge, sat guests with over 175 years lived in Summit County, collectively.
“The sense of community here is immense,” said Frank. “Sponsoring this event on behalf of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty makes me feel proud to give back to a cause my coworkers and I really believe in. Whether you’re talking about business, the community where you live or your own family, it’s all a network.”
FIRC was created over 20 years ago by citizens of Summit County with the mission to support and strengthen families, fostering the firm belief that strong, healthy families make for a strong community. FIRC assists families by providing direct support in a crisis, and then connecting them to resources and information so they can work to prepare for future challenges.
“Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty is always a leading sponsor of our events,” said Anita Overmyer, development and volunteer director at FIRC. “We had a fantastic turnout and raised over $30,000. Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty contributed a big part of those donations. In one evening, that’s incredible.”
The Hearthstone restaurant generously donated 100% of ticket sales to support FIRC. The building that houses the long time favorite Breckenridge eatery dates back to the late1800s.
Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty has expanded it’s Breckenridge presence to a new main street location on the corner of Main Street and Ski Hill Road at the 100% intersection.
